Reading and Prayer – October 29

Reading: Mark 10:13-16

People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

Thank you for this day and all the days ahead and behind us. Thank you for making us so that we could live in your wonderful creation. Thank you for the food we eat, our homes, creation and for our friends. Earth is exactly what we need to live and we know that you are going to make Heaven even better! In Heaven we won’t need any food, we won’t hurt and we won’t get tired because you are all that we need. Thank you for giving us feelings and love and free choice. Now we can love you, our families and creation. Thank you for everything that you’ve given us, Amen.
