Reading and Prayer – October 16

Psalm 103:1-4

Let all that I am praise the Lord;
    with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the Lord;
    may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
    and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
    and crowns me with love and tender mercies.

Our Father in heaven,

Let all that we are praise you! Let every word from our mouths, every work of our hands, and every thought of our minds be giving you the glory that you deserve!

May we never forget all they you have done for us! You have forgiven all the wrong things we have done, and you clean us from the disease of selfishness and pride in our lives. Because of what you have done for us on the cross, and in your resurrection, we know that death is not the final word in our lives!

You shower us with your love. We are covered in your tender mercies and made your very own children. Nothing could be better than this!

Thank you so much. Help us not to forget or get distracted.

We love you! Amen.
