December 9: Luke 1:36-38

Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.” “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her. 

Prayer: Dear God, we are humbled and amazed at the faith of Mary, who, in the face of the most astonishing news, became the model of perfect obedience. May she inspire is to follow you as willing and obedient servants, ready to do your will and serve you as the devoted followers of Jesus. Amen.
