Psalm 92 is entitled “A Song for the Sabbath”
We are a day or two early, but I’ll be messaging my friends in Israel this morning, wishing them Shabbat Shalom, a peaceful Sabbath, which for them begins at sunset tonight. Restrictions in Israel, which were very tight, are in the process of being eased. For many, this Sabbath will be the first in two months when they can gather in small family groups to celebrate around the table. And this Psalm will be sung by many.
For myself this morning, I cling to the promise of remaining “fresh and green” in old age!
